Bright and Cheery!

I've been having such fun playing with the new ultrafine  and diamond range colours. For this card, I used the ultrafine white on the sweet elves hats and the amethyst to create a fun border

Have you all got started on your Christmas cards yet???

Orange and Black

Just a reminder about the current Sprinkle challenge (FSC38) to use Flower Soft on your cards that feature orange and black. Halloween's coming up soon!We don't really do Halloween at our house, but I do have lots of cute pumpkin stamps! This one is from Eureka Stamps and it's watercolored with reinkers and Inktense pencils. I grounded the image with some Autumn Flower Soft. The sentiment is from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. If you'd like to join in on the Sprinkle challenge, pull out the Flower Soft - you might even win a prize! Post your orange and black project in the Splitcoast Gallery using the keywords flowersoft (one word) and FSC38. We'd love to have you join us!

Hope You Can Cling To

Flower Soft is one of the sponsors for Splitcoaststampers' annual card drive known as Hope You Can Cling To. Through a month-long series of challenges, participants create cards that are donated to the UT MD Austin Cancer Center so that patients in the breast cancer center can receive and share encouragement through the gift of a handmade card. You can find out more information about the card drive and challenges HERE.
Here is one of the cards I made as a sample for an upcoming challenge, using Diecut Dimensionals Wildflowers - the preprinted and diecut elements of the set are perfect for quick and beautiful cards. I cut a hole in the precut oval shape to frame the sentiment (smARTworks), and layered additional roses over the ones on the oval. Each flower was shaped with a large stylus. (For a tutorial, you can visit this post.) I sprinkled Ultrafine Sand Flower Soft in each flower center.

Thanks for visiting!

Soft and Downy! The new Ultrafine White is AMAZING!!!

Just a quick share with you to show one of the newest additions to the Flower Soft Family-Ultrafine White. This ultrafine is just so soft and downy! Perfect for lots of embellishing.......... it reminds of of the soft fluffy dry snow that you get on a very cool day, as opposed to the icy crystally snow, which the Polar White emulates!!! In any case, both Polar and Ultrasoft White are totally perfect for your Wintery scenes!!!!

For more information on this card, please visit my Blog

Have a wonderful week!

Flower Soft Fan Friday

Hey Flower Soft Peeps! We wanted to take a day each week to do a little shout out to you, our Flower Soft users by showcasing your work. We will be scouring the web for your designs so be on the look out for an email from us requesting permission to post your projects.

The first designer we would like to showcase comes to you from Grace, aka, 'scrappigramma2' at Splitcoast Stampers. She created this beautiful card using Flower Soft Vintage Christmas. Take a look-c....

Such a beauty! Vintage Christmas is one of my personal favorites. I love the red and green mixture. It makes creating holly such a simple job. Just add your glue, sprinkle and viola!

Thank you, Grace, for sharing your beautiful work and creativity!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs,

Jen Buck

Fall Shaker

For the Fall challenge I made a shaker card using Flower Soft's Display Globes and Aperture Cards. These display globes are super deep and allow for a lot of dimension inside. I thought this fun image from Eureka Stamps would be even more fun with a shakable pile of leaves, so I filled my globe with Autumn, Marigold, Earth, and Baby Pink Flower Soft, and some small leaf punchies. The Sentiment I used is from Impression Obsession. I stamped the leaves (Biblical Impressions) over the card, which I colored "direct to paper" using chalk inks. Here's a closer look at the shake-y stuff:

Fall Fun

Happy Fall! It's time for another Flower Soft challenge. This weeks challenge will call for a bit of fall fun! The design team has many beautiful samples for you. Be sure and take a moment to look through them....

Here's a sample I created for Halloween......

I used our Flower Soft wires for the legs to the little spider and his body is actually two glue dots. I used Black Flower Soft to cover the whole thing.

Looking forward to your creations. If you have the chance to play along please upload your creation to Splitcoast Stampers using the keyword FSC37.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Flower Soft Ornament

Are you looking ahead to fast and easy Christmas projects? Here's a quick ornament idea using the Vintage Christmas Toppers... I used a square die to cut out the letters image from within one of the scalloped designs. The Fleur de Lis and Labels die are from Spellbinders, and they are layered with foam tape in between for a little more dimension.

I used Christmas Green and Strawberry Flower Soft on the image... here's a close-up!
