Celebrate Card Making!

Did you know there was a holiday just for Card Making?
Today (Saturday, October 2nd)  is World CardMaking day.  To celebrate, I wanted to share a card with you.

This past week, Flower Soft sponsored Card Positioning Systems blog.  This is my card for this weeks sketch.  You can check out the CPS blog for several other cards created with Flower soft. I used the NEW Cute Christmas PaperCraft CD rom.  Let me tell you, there is almost no end to the great papers and images that are on this CD and it is so easy to use.
The red, printed, Santa paper that I used for the background on my card is on the CD and what is super cool is that all of the papers can be printed in few different color choices.  I printed the Santa with the little bear image and the patterned paper on Curious Iridescent Cryogen White Cardstock.  Images print so wonderfully on this paper and it has a slight sparkle to it.  I used the image in the jpeg version so I could pick the size I wanted it printed in.

Here is a close-up of the Santa with Bear image.  I so love to use the Polar Ice Flower Soft, it is perfect for the Santa beard and hat trim.  I added a little bit of two brown shades of Flower Soft on the bear.
