Morning Tea

This is great idea for Mothers Day! Morning Tea by Cibele Glazer, this card uses a Recipes for Break Time Beverages card topper. Cibele describes the techniques she employed to make this elegant card:

'Using the Spellbinders Marvelous Squares dies, I cut the image and mat and attached it to a card base along with a gold Wilton Doily. I edged all the cardstock with gold ink. I used a gold paint pen to go around the edges of the cup for some added shine.'

We'll be back with even more ideas using Card Toppers soon. Be sure to take a look at our Facebook page for any ideas you may have missed.

Creative With Toppers #2

How about a BEAUTIFUL little something from our talented Jeanne.  I {heart} what she has done with the Charlie's Ark sepia topper.  Take a peek....

Jeanne

How STUNNING is this one!  The pearls are such a beautiful touch for the champagne bubbles.  There are so many ways to use card toppers.  I'm looking forward to sharing more with you this week.

Toppers & Stamps

Hey Peeps!  We are working with Toppers and Stamps this week!  What's a topper?  I know that many of you know this term but it's new to quite a few.  At Flower Soft we carry pre-colored images that are ready to be placed on any card or paper project.  They help make creating a breeze!  This week I am sharing one that Deb created....

This is one of my favorite toppers!  I love how Deb added it to her own card stock and added a beautiful ribbon.  The toppers are ready to go.  You can add a touch of Flower Soft for more dimension.

Be sure and see what the rest of the team came up with....

Thanks for stopping by!

Papers: www.discountcardstock.com (Ultra Orange 65#, Black Columns 80#)

Lavender Gate Fold

Here's a card I made for the Hope You Can Cling To card drive at Splitcoaststampers last month - this is a gatefold card using the Lavender Papercraft Kit. This kit coordinates with Spellbinders dies, and they're so easy to line up - I don't have the scalloped ovals, but the classic ovals work just as well. I used Lilac Flower Soft on the focal panel, and the sentiment comes from Impression Obsession.

Thanks for looking!

Country Flower Shop

I made a yellow card to cheer myself up on a particularly gloomy day - this little flower shop from the Country Village Topper collection is so inviting. I used Meadow, Lemon, Citrus Crush, and Earth Flower Soft to add dimension to the scene, and a Sakura glaze pen on the window and door.

Thanks for looking! Be sure to check in tomorrow for a new Sprinkle Challenge!

Snow Globe toppers

Here's a fun little die-cut card featuring the Christmas Snow Globe toppers - these toppers are made to be used with the dimensional Display Globes, but they can be used alone or in a frame like I've created here with Spellbinders dies.A couple of angled shots to show the dimension you can create with these decoupage kits - I used glitter and Polar White Flower Soft to add snow to the scene.
