Digi paper as sweet as Candy!

Yesterday, Jacque created a beautiful sample showcasing one of the new digital papers matching the Moments In Time Stamps and Toppers. Today, I have a sneak peek of one of the other digi papers that match the Just for you stamp and additionally work very well with various images, including this sweet image.

Here's a close up of the digi paper! So soft and pretty and the perfect scale for cardmaking! I printed my paper on a heavier weight paper that has a little bit of linen texture through it. I was also able to open the digi file in photo shop and resize the file to print just the amount I needed for the card!.

I used Shamrock Green Flower Soft to create the Grass.

"Be sure and check out our new Flower Soft TV { www.flower-soft.tv } beginning June 7th!"

We are also going to be giving away blog candy specific to this launch. By signing up for the new Flower Soft TV site they will be entered for a chance to win one of every Flower Soft product featured in the first Flower Soft TV show. This is over $100 in product goods. The winner will be announce on the Flower Soft blog and Flower Soft TV site when the show launches.

Happy Stamping!

For my card today I used Bazzill for the base, all matting is SU, and the darling image Just for You was stamped on Cryogen White and colored with Copics to match the new, lovely digi papers which will be available from Flower Soft very soon!! I added a touch of Gold Stickles to the lace, Lilac, Lavender, Citrus Crush and Raspberry Fizz for all the flowers, and a mixture of Shamrock Green and Pale Green to highlight the grass. The image was propped up on a MS Quilted Punch Around tthe Page and yellow pearls were added to the junctures as well as to all corners of the card. To add vertical interest, I added a stripe from one of the new digi papers, using small lavender bows and yellow organza butterflies. To finish the front I added floral treatments using yellow pleated flowers by Maya Road.

I hope you have enjoyed my creation and will join us everyday as our Design Team Members will have some very lovely and exciting creations to show you...Enjoy your week...Hugs from Jacque

Bouquet of Yellow Flowers

You can stamp an image, color it in and leave it at that OR you can jazz it up a bit by adding some Flower Soft! How does it get better?
It is such a simple and easy accent and it is something else the detail the Flower Soft adds to an image. Here I just stamped the flowers and then I did color them in with a yellow Copic marker. The Flower Soft gives a very thorough coverage, but for any areas where the underneath color would show through, I wanted to reinforce my color with yellow markers and yellow Flower Soft. Just be sure that you are generous when adding the Tacky glue to the areas you are going to cover.
Can you just see from this side view of my finished flowers how SOFT this accent is? I know you can't feel it but you can believe me. And, the Tacky glue is so good to use with the Flower Soft, once you have brushed off the extra flakes, all of the rest of the Flower Soft stays in place and looks amazing.

Just For You

Hi! Jeanne here today with a colorful Moments in Time stamped card.

I used the  Just For You (Moments in Time) stamp set for today’s card. Isn’t she sweet?
I colored the image with Copic markers and then added Summer Mix Flower Soft to her bouquet and Christmas Green Flower Soft (with a wee bit of Shamrock Green) for the grass.

The matching Flower Soft corner was made by adding Flower Soft Glue directly from the bottle and then sprinkling on Summer Mix Flower Soft. Here’s a closer at her bouquet:

Sweet Treat Package

Happy Monday! If you're celebrating Victoria Day today and are enjoying a long weekend, I hope it's been safe and fun! I'm excited to be bringing you some of my projects each Monday here on the Flower Soft Blog!

I created this gift set with two of the images in the Recipes for Friendship Kit. I made the small Pizza Box, for which I found the Tutorial on Splitcoaststampers. This was quick and easy as well. I used a Nestabilitie to cut an octagonal shape around my image and sponged some soft sky and celery ink around the image. I used some Ultrafine Flower soft in Strawberry to add some dotted dimension to the bag and hair bows and some UF Toffee for the bear. A Little Shamrock to the grass..... and Viola! That was done in a flash!

I wanted to continue to experiment with my new colours and didn't want to repeat the same pattern, so for creative part of the challenge on my card I used some Shamrock and Ultrafine Raspberry Fizz to create the little bushes! In addition, I added some Lilac to her little hair bows!

I had lots of fun machine stitching the Red border.........hehe.........so much fun that I stitched and Stitched and stitched to create a shabby border. I'm lovin' that Polka dotted Ribbon too! I'm sure you've seen it here before and I need to order some more as I've just about used it all up!

Have a WONDERFUL day!

Welcome to the Excitement Coming Soon to Flower Soft!!

Happy Sunday and welcome to the Flower Soft Blog! Many exciting things are happening at Flower Soft and I hope you will join all of us in participating. Not only will there be new products but Flower Soft TV will be coming very soon so I hope you will come over and sign up for all of the updates--there will be a magnificent prize for some lucky follower and special deals for all participants!

I'm Jacque and since this is my first posting on the blog I would like to show you several of my cards from the past which I think point out the many exciting uses of Flower Soft. For the first card, I made the topiaries by mixing Pale Green and Shamrock Green Flower Soft and used the pots from the Pots and Urns Collection. The tiny ribbon is 2 mm Pale Lemon Ribbon.

The next card shows Sweat Pea Flower Soft used for both dimension in the basket of flowers and for highlights around the image.

For the next card I used Flower Soft Wires, Mini Bouquet and Mounts - Lavender, and Violet Flower Soft to make the small nosegay, and more of the 2 mm Ribbons for trim.

Thank you so much for visiting the Flower Soft Blog and I would like to invite you to visit us everyday to see what's NEW and EXCITING in the world of Flower Soft!

Flower Soft and a photo

I love to use photos that I have taken on cards and I love to experiment so that is what today's post is about.
I wondered how Flower Soft accents would work on an actual photo printed on photo paper. Guess what, it worked wonderfully!
The photo is a cluster of white roses with yellow centers. I just added a generous amount of the Tacky glue to the centers of the roses. Next, I added the Citrus Crush Ultra Fine Flower Soft on the wet glue and left that to dry thoroughly. When that was dry, I brushed off all of the excess Flower Soft and then I added a bit more glue to just the center area of a couple of these Flower Soft accented centers and added the Sunshine yellow Flower Soft and left that to dry.
If you have even use both the original Flower Soft and the Ultra Fine Flower Soft, you know that the original kind has larger little flakes then the Ultra Fine so they really worked together nicely for the centers of my flowers.
Here is a side view. If you look real hard, you can see that they are two different levels of Flower Soft with the two kinds that I used.

Here is another view of a close up of the centers to help you get the idea. I thought my experiment worked out pretty good for a fun accent to a card and to a photo.
And, here is a little reminder, be on the lookout for what is soon to come with Flower Soft TV, you are going to LOVE it!
Thanks for visiting the Flower Soft blog today, Linda Beeson
