Head on over and check it out!!!
pcpcolor74.jpg

I used the Country Taglets for my card. These come preprinted with 3 square images (2 different designs in the pack). I chose to cut the images out and mat them. I added Ultra Fine Sage and Sweet Pea Flower Soft to the three flower images. I put a dab of Flower Soft glue in the button centers and added Sweat Pea (instant matching embellishment!).

Hi everyone! This is Rose Ann with a Flower Soft Recipes for Friendship card to share. I think these little bears are just too adorable! I've used a topper on this creation, and die cut the image with my Labels Twelve Spellbinders die. I used some Citrus Crush Ultra Fine Flower Soft to accent the flower-shaped button.

Creating Floral Centers with Flowersoft.

Good Morning! Hope you all enjoyed a nice weekend. Quite often, I use Flowersoft to ground and image, as you can see underneath my flower pot picture. But in addition, I like to use flower soft in the center of flowers!!!

For this project, I added Autumn Flower Soft directly to the coloured image. To add dimension to the flower embellishment. I covered a button, which gave me a nice center to the card!!!

I really like the way the Flower Soft tied in the colours on the card and especially matched the rusty tones in the designer paper!

What a Difference a Little Flower Soft Makes!

It doesn't take much, just a little accent of Flower Soft can make your entire creation. You will get added interest and dimension plus the softness it adds to an image.
I wanted to share today how easy it is to add some Flower Soft accents to stamped images, using these to create cards. You can tell on both of my cards, that I stamped one image, added Flower Soft to portions of each one and my cards went from OK to WOW!
This wonderful flower is a set of stamps from Kitchen Sink stamps. These stamps are meant to be used in a three or four step process. When I had my flower stamped and finished, I added the Tacky Glue to the middle design and added Baby Pink Flower Soft and Raspberry Fizz Ultra Fine Flower Soft to it. Again, make sure you are generous with the amount of glue you use.
Here you can see my completed card using October Afternoon papers and Verve stamps.
I added some Raspberry Fizz Ultra Fine Flower Soft to the outline of the butterfly. That little bit of something extra will have the recipient of the card wondering what you did to make it just that much more special to receive.

Tone On Tone

Hi! Jeanne here today.

Today I'm going to show you an example of using the Tone on Tone technique with Flower Soft. Basically, all Tone on Tone means is that you are using one color and different textures to create your picture. I stamped the silhouette flower in red ink on red cardstock and then added Russet Red Flower Soft for texture. You can't get any easier than that and the results are amazing!

Teddies and cake sentiment from Moments in Time backing papers.
Sage Green Ultra Fine.
Raspberry Fizz Ultra Fine.
Toffee Ultra Fine.
Spellbinders Nestabilities Classic Heart.
Gingham paper for curtains.
Fine Peel Off stickers.

Hi there,
Noreen again don't the weeks fly past?
I'm really loving the different styles created by our team, there are so many talented people out there.
Something else I'm really loving and finding fantastic to use are the Spellbinders dies. I KNOW your all shouting where have you been?....I do catch on eventually!

Anyway, I used the Nestabilities Classic Heart to cut the heart shape in the window topper.I then cut out panes and placed a sheet of acetate behind the image.I cut out two of the teddies from the Moments in Time download papers and popped them inside the window. Of course I used the Toffee Ultra Fine to give them a lovely furry effect first!

The weather's been sizzlin' here in the great north! With unusually warm temperatures, we've been enjoying a multitude of water sports here. Even days at the Beach! I'm loving the Ultrafine Flower Soft (Sand) for creating Beach scenes. It even feels like sand and goes on so easy.

These little images are from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! The punch is from EK Success and the Little fellows are coloured in Copic Makers with some Copic Spica Highlights!

Birthday Sparkle

How better to celebrate a birthday then with a cupcake and the frosting is fluffy Flower Soft? Add a few penguins with little white, soft tummies.
I used this cute stamp by The Cat's Pajamas. I stamped it with black ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder. Next I did a little bit of coloring with Copic markers. All of the finishing touches to these cuties was done with a few colors of Flower Soft.
The frosting is Sweet Pea Flower Soft. The star on top of the candle is accented with the Sunshine Yellow, some Glitter 3-D Fashion paint and a rhinestone.
And the BEST part, white fluffy tummies on the penguins with the Polar White Flower Soft. I have just been looking for a chance to use this white.
I wanted to give you a side view of the areas were I added the Flower Soft so you could see the great dimension that it adds to an image. Remember to use the Tacky Glue to adhere the Flower Soft to your project and remember to be generous with the amount of glue you use.

Using The Starter Kit

I've used lots of goodies from the Starter Kit to make this lovely card;

Garden Borders Card Topper, Baskets and Butterflies Sentiments, Spring Flower Soft, Flower Soft wires, Flower Soft Glue and the gorgeous silk ribbons. All products are available for sale individually too.

So glad to see that your loving Flower Soft and Ultra Fine and being so creative, I'm learning so much from you all.

I always love sending a cute bouquet to my friends either just to cheer them up or celebrate an occassion with them. I make the flowers when I have some spare time and then store them in a box so I always have some ready for the times I have to make a card quickly! Watch the detailed tutorial on http://www.flower-soft.tv/ to see how easy it is to create your wrapper and flowers and the professional finish you will acheive by using some of the hints and tips learnt from all the mistakes I made before you!

It's great fun, it's easy and you will be amazed at the professional finish you will be proud to send to your best buddies!

I'm so excited to be able to join you in sharing and learning, there is so much to learn isn't there? Never a dull moment!

Looking forward to your feedback and will talk next week.

Enjoy.

Lots of love, Noreen.

Flower Soft Borders

Hi! Jeanne here today!

Here is a project I made using Flower Soft as a border.
I ran my ATG gun along the side of the card and added Fushia Mix Flower Soft to create this fun and fuzzy border. When you add Flower Soft this way you need to tamp it down into the adhesive. Once it’s on there it stays with very little “shedding”.

For Dad

Good Morning!

Hope that you all enjoyed your weekend! Fathers Day is soon approaching here in Canada and the United States and I thought I would share a card with this theme.

Sometimes just a wee touch of Flower Soft will make a big difference on a card. I really like to use the Flower Soft to create grass and sand and such on Designer Paper. It's often difficult to use your colouring mediums on this paper, especially when the colours are a little darker. The Flower Soft creates a lovely base for you, which in turn grounds your image. Visually it keeps your image from appearing to be floating in mid air and is more visually pleasing. I used Ultrafine Sage on this particular Project. In addition, I used a little dab of Ultra Fine Strawberry on her Barrettes and earrings. I really love that I can add dimension without too much bulk

Guess what? You can see the second epsiode of Flower Soft TV today. Noreen is featuring the Starter Box today! Be sure to check it out HERE

Grounding Character Images with Flower Soft

A very happy Sunday from Jacque. I hope that your weekend was a special one and that you are looking forward to a great week! I am so glad that you are dropping by the Flower Soft blog to see what's happening here.

Since I have received so many emails regarding the use of Flower Soft, I would like to share with you a card I made which shows the addition of Flower Soft to actually give the character grounding. After my card was finished I wish I had taken a picture of it before adding the grass and Flower Soft so you could see how much interest Flower Soft can add to your cards and projects.

If you use character images as often as I do, you may want to try this idea. Rather than letting the character float around on the background, I have used a few shades of green Copics for the blades of grass and added Sage Ultra Fine Flower Soft to give the ground alot of dimension and to make the character look as though she is actually standing in the grass.

Flower Soft can be used in so many fun ways to add alot of interest to your cards and projects. I hope you will come back often to see the many wonderful ideas and new products which you will find here. You will also find many marvelous ideas for projects on the Flower Soft site. If I can answer any of your questions, please feel free to contact me by email.

Remember Dad

That's right, Dad's day is just around the corner!
Both of the cards I am going to share with you use the recipe toppers from the Recipes for Family package. This one works so well for Dad. If you have ever used a Topper before, you will know that they come completely colored and ready to use. And, they don't just have to be used on cards either, they work on any project. Of course, they are perfect for adding some Flower Soft too.
I added a fluffy border of Delphinium Blue Flower Soft around the frame and then some accents on the rug.
This topper is in the same package and it is all cute and pink, perfect for a Sister. The card base is new Gemstone cardstock by Core'dinations. I embossed part of it with a Cuttlebug embossing folder for added interest.
I cut out the teddy bear sitting in the chair and then made a border out of the word portion. Flower Soft was added to her dress and the little bow in her hair.
Remember that you can always watch Flower Soft TV for some great examples of using Flower Soft and the tips and techniques that make it work better.

Happy Birthday!

Hi! Jeanne here!
This week's Design Team challenge was to make a project with Flower Soft Stems.
Here is a great tutorial if you're new to Flower Soft stems:  Flower Soft Bouquet

Here is my card:
jmsfs-birthday-wishes-copy.jpg

I printed the Flower Soft TV Limited edition digital paper on white cardstock for my card back.
I made Flower Soft Stems 3 ways. I used Fuchsia Flower Soft, and Ultra Fine Sage Flower Soft for the floral stems. On the rest I colored the stems green with a Copic marker (YG97). I wrapped the green stems around a paintbrush to get the cute curly look. I then bundled all my stems by wrapping strong thread around them and then added the ribbon. The last step was arranging my flowers by bending them a bit here and there until I was happy with the shape.
Here is a closer look at my stems:

Playing With Kites card

It is amazing what a little Ultra Fine Flower Soft can add to a card or project.
For my card, I used one of the Flower Soft Moments In Time "Boy's Hobbies" toppers. These are great for a few reasons. One is that you get several of these in one package in two different designs. Two is that they are all pre-colored, so they are ready to use. Three, they are great for the foundation of a card but they work for other projects too. To create my card, I used one of the toppers with this cute little boy playing with a kite and then I added some Ultra Fine Flower Soft to portions of the design.

Notice the Strawberry Red Ultra Fine Flower Soft that I added to portions of the kite tail, the Citrus Crush Ultra Fine Flower Soft that I added to the edges of the little boys sweater and then the Citrus Crush that I added to the center lines in the kite. When I added the Citrus Crush to the kite, I had stray pieces of the Strawberry red close by so I added those too, resulting in a mix of colors that really turned out great. (Remember you get the best results by using the Tacky Glue that is also available through Flower Soft and you get the best results by being generous with the amount of the glue you use)
The big exciting news on the card is that cute patterned paper. This is some of the brand new Digi paper that is being released soon. It comes in an 8 1/2" x 11" format, but in my photo printing program, I choose to print it out 5" x 7" and so the result is that the designs are smaller. This is one of the things that make Digi papers fun is that they are versatile. I printed mine on my lustre photo paper.
Be on the lookout for the revealing of Flower Soft TV , become a follower, watch for the amazing give aways.
