Winter Wishes

We hope you are all having a wonderful New Year's day!  I'm curious about what traditions you keep today.  I'm from the south and we have a big pot of black eyed peas each year for prosperity and good luck.

For our next give away, please leave a comment here and include any New Years traditions you keep.  :)

What are you playing for?

Your very own Oriental Blossoms paper craft kit.  We are getting a bit closer to spring....at least, I'm getting ready for it!  ;)  I'm not trying to rush things but looking outside at the beautiful winter wonderland I am ready for a bit of color!

Here's a sample from Dawn.  This one keeping with the season!

Polar White Winkie

Remember that all winners will be posted tonight at 7PM EST.
Hugs,
Jen

  1. One New Year tradition we´ve had ever since I was a small kid has been to watch Slalom skiing new years day and then we all gather around a huge bowl of soup for an early dinner this night. This tradition has been kept now for at least 55 years I can remember and we keep it going now with our kids and grandkids too.
What a gorgeous card here, it really looks awesome.
    Happy New Year everyone.

  5. Love all the card samples you showcase :)
I'm with Cathy...with the kids grown up, we do not really entertain or have a tradition. But we do have a New Years dinner which includes black eyed peas and collards :)
