Looking Up

I love this image from Cornish Heritage Farms - such a carefree scene (it's a little unseasonal, but still fun...)! I colored the image with Touch Twin markers, and added Meadow Flower Soft to the branch. The sentiment is from smARTworks.

Thanks for looking!

Country Flower Shop

I made a yellow card to cheer myself up on a particularly gloomy day - this little flower shop from the Country Village Topper collection is so inviting. I used Meadow, Lemon, Citrus Crush, and Earth Flower Soft to add dimension to the scene, and a Sakura glaze pen on the window and door.

Thanks for looking! Be sure to check in tomorrow for a new Sprinkle Challenge!

Country Village Kit

Always seem to be in need of a thank you card... here was a quick one using Flower Soft products - the Cobblestone paper and the main image are part of the Country Village Papercraft Kit. (This kit is also available as a printable download.) I cut a frame using a Spellbinders die, added Lemon, Meadow, and Citrus Crush Flower Soft, and finished off the card with a satin bow and a sentiment from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. Quick and easy!
The current Sprinkle Challenge over at SCS is to create a rectangular card... if you'd like to join in on the challenge, pull out the Flower Soft - you might even win a prize! Post your project in the Splitcoast Gallery by using the keywords flowersoft (one word) and FSC33. We'd love to have you join us!

Country Village Cottages

I never really got to play with these toppers, and needed a thank you card to send, so I chose this scene from the Country Village Cottages set. I cut out the foreground piece, then used temporary adhesive to hold the two pieces of the scene together while I die cut them. I added some dimension to the foreground piece using an embossing stylus from the back side, then adding Marigold and Meadow Flower Soft to the rose bush on the right. I used a glaze pen on the windows to give them a little shine, then used Meadow and Polar White Flower Soft on the vines against the house. The topper is set down into a diecut frame which gives it a little negative border. The taglet is also part of the topper set. What a fun way to create a quick and beautiful card!

Go fly a Kite

Happy Monday!!! My apologies for not posting much in the last few weeks, but i'm catching up and have a fun share for you today! I am a huge fan of Flowersofts' Moments in Time Stamps. The images are so sweet and lovely for colouring. I coloured The Kite stamp with my Copic Markers adding some sponging for the sky, white gel pen for highlights and of course some Meadow for dimension.

For the sentiment, I separated the sentiment from the small kite and mounted it to the side of the image! Fun card for a fun boy! The DP from the Playtime Stack from DCWV worked perfectly with the Garden Green background.

Hope you have a wonderful week and I'll catch you next week with more fun products from Flowersoft
