This week’s Flower Soft Sprinkle Challenge & Hop (FSC19) – I Love Flower Soft!

This week the Flower Soft girls are dishing out a Looooooove Challenge! Make a card in a Valentine or Love theme. 

Entries must be uploaded to the SCS gallery and use at least one Flower Soft product (Flower Soft, toppers, stamps) to be eligible to win. Please use the keyword FSC19 and flowersoft (one word) when uploading to the gallery so we can find your project. Entries will be accepted for the challenge until 6:00am CT on January 14th for both the blog hop and SCS challenge. The SCS winner’s card will be featured on the Flower Soft blog on January 14th!

.......and a Happy New Year!

I entered this card in the monthly contest for December over at Art Impressions,...thought I'd share it here too. Five different stamps make up the little carolers scene, which I watercolored with reinkers and watercolor/Inktense pencils. I cut out the roof top and and punched the edge with a corner rounder with the edge guard removed. I used a large stylus to emboss each scallop from the back side.I added some snowy accents to the scene with Polar White Flower Soft.

Christmas is over, bring on Spring!

I hope that you all enjoyed a Happy and Healthy New Year! Wishing you all the best in 2011. I have to say that although I'm not terribly excited about getting back to my routine of work and early rising, I always view the post Christmas period as a segway into Spring! Yes, here in Canada we have a few months of Winter left. I look forward to more days of skating on the lake and perhaps some sledding, but I DON"T relish driving in the slush and snow! I do like the thought of creating sweet spring samples as I was getting a little bit weary with the influx of Christmas projects I was working on!

This sweet and simple sample uses some Ultrafine Black Flowersoft to add dimension to the Buttterfly's body. The Sketch used in the card is from this weeks Card Positioning System Blog.
